Clothed Portraits

It turns out a lot of folks aren't quite up for a nude shoot, but they don't want to go to a mall portrait gallery either. If you would rather work with an artist with quality gear in the privacy of his home studio who will set up the lights as cheerful or moody or whatever you want instead of being locked into some one size fits all setup you've come to the right place. It's also possible to do a mixed shoot where you get some clothed portraits for the living room but some nudes for a private album. Just let me know when you first contact me what you're interested in so I can plan accordingly. It doesn't affect the rate unless you want to do something really crazy or you're doing more of a Senior Portrait thing and want lots of copies of the same shot (see below).

Q: So what was that about Senior Portraits?
A: It's become very popular to skip the whole portraits-at-school thing and just hire a higher end photographer to do it. Often people want a digital copy to send to the yearbook people, and they also want a whole lot of copies of 1-2 images including wallet sized shots. I don't have any issues with this, but my normal pricing model doesn't really fit (people don't usually want 20 wallet sized images of the same nude to hand out to all their relatives!).

If you're interested in something like this drop me a note - the key questions are if you want a studio shoot or something more casual/outdoors, how many outfits you want to try (example: casual outfit, prom dress) some idea of what sizes and how many prints you need, if you can come here or if you have a location you want to use. Note that I don't have cliche props like a giant 2008 for them to sit on, so if that's what you're looking for you've come to the wrong place. Unless you want something really crazy you're probably looking at $300-$500. If I need to travel or if you want huge prints I can do that, but that's typically what will start costing more.

For the record, I don't shoot nudes of folks under 18 unless they're infants.
